This is the master bedroom. Yes, I even made the bed just for you guys! The funny boxes on the wall are the paint swatches. We think we have decided with the help of mom which ones to use. Now, just to paint....
This is where Reese sleeps at night and when he is terrified because I'm doing crazy things like bringing in groceries (Scary plastic bags!) and unpacking all of the "stuff" that Ian and I felt were necessary for the new house.
The bathroom. It looks amazing! Especially now that all of the dolphin stickers and random dolphin accessories have been removed. I think you might have liked it before Julia since it was decorated to match your sorority. We had to take a razor blade to remove the dolphin stickers that were all over the mirror because they were really really stuck.
This is the guest bedroom/my office. It has a really cool old art deco bed frame which you can't really see in this picture, but trust me, it is neat. Ian and I are going to wait for the spring and then refinish it so that it looks as amazing as it possibly can.
This is the desk area in the guest room. The picture you can't see is of two horses in a field (by Degas) and it is just a nice, peaceful room. Mom is going to come back up and help me make curtains to go over the blinds. We found and awesome striped shower curtain which we are going to use for the fabric. It goes perfectly! And that funny chair you see in the right corner of the picture is an exercise bike.
This is Ian's study area. It's a bit of a mess with all of the clothes airing out from storage. It is another of Reese's favorite spots to hang out, until the fluffy ruffled pillow attacked him and now he won't go back on the little couch unless you move the pillow first.
This is the living room. It is my favorite room when it is clean! But right now the boxes have kind of taken over. I love it though. The dresser looks lovely doesn't it? And my Texas pillow goes great even though you can't see it very well right now.
Here is the kitchen. It is beginning to look like we may be able to use it tonight! Yay!!! Pretty much everything has been put away we just need to figure out what we are doing with all of the bubble wrap.
here is a slightly better picture of the actual dining area, but it is still a little messy. I promise I will also post pictures when you can see what the house SHOULD look like :)
Just so you can get a feel. This is our trash heap right now of all the stuff we have removed from the house for the garage sale and all of the boxes and plastic wrap. It is amazing!!!
So there are the pictures. I am currently busily working on trying to get the higher traffic areas cleared so they can be used. Currently it is a bit like a maze trying to get past all of the boxes, but I am seeing progress which is nice. Reese is just going to have to hold out a little longer with all of the craziness and then we will be done.
